Helping television and documentary makers tell their stories
ABOUT

Mark Tanner
I first became interested in sound playing around with my parents’ stereo system. At 17 my band Flexess Light recorded at Tin Pan Alley in Milsons Point in 1978. I played guitar and harmonica in bands in Sydney and Brisbane, including a 5 year stint with the Allniters and various offshoot bands.
I started working as a sound recordist on Simon Townsend’s Wonder World! and became fascinated by the film editing process. For a short while cutting Wonder World stories before becoming the program’s associate producer.
A couple of production desk jobs later I first got my hands on post production gear at Beyond Productions doing Jack Thompson Down Under. Since then I've tracklayed and mixed many programs, altering and improving my procedures.
